En-suite Double Bedroom with Pentland Hill View

The location was nice and quiet. My wife and I had a very good experience during our stay in Edinburgh. We had to share the house with a very lovely and nice couple that we became friends with, and really shared our experiences for different aspects of everyone’s lives. The appartment was clean and perfect for two people, the view from the window was very nice and relaxing and it was not far away from the city center (10 mins walking the area and 15 mins by bus) which was also a great choice to explore and view the city. Really worth it as a place to stay in Edinburgh, the experince you get to create and share with that lovely couple and their cute little kid and also for the budget of your stay.

Very clean and bed was comfortable. Hosts were very welcoming and the accommodation is just a 12 minute walk from bus stops that take you right into the city centre so very easy to get around without a car

Even though the accommodation was excellent, I didn't know that there was no private access as you are basically staying in a room in someone's house and was taken by suprise on this as its not very apparent from the listing on booking.com and the pictures seemed like it had a private access but this is actually their lounge doors. The front door handle is also quite complicated, even though it does come with a set of instructions, it was a bit of a pain and took a couple of minutes for us to get out the house each morning and still have no idea if we locked it correctly or not. They should really simplify this for their guests as this locking mechanism is very different to anything I have ever seen before.
