We stayed in Westbrook, Durban from 3–11 April and had an excellent experience.
The location is honestly one of the biggest highlights - directly across the road from the ocean with a completely unobstructed view. You can hear the waves at night while lying in bed, and the sunrises and sunsets are something special. It’s also within walking distance to the beach and a great nearby restaurant, which made everything very convenient.
The hosts really stood out. Before arrival, they shared a detailed welcome video explaining how everything works (like the hydraulic bed and outdoor shading), which made settling in effortless. They also provided a well-thought-out guide with recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area - super useful.
They went out of their way to assist whenever needed, and there were some thoughtful extras on arrival. Those small touches made a big difference and added to the overall experience.
Overall, a fantastic stay and would most definitely return - highly recommended.
