CASTLE COTTAGE Self catering fully equipped homely 120sqm double story king bed cottage in a lush green neighborhood

The cottage is well-equipped and plenty of space. The host was lovely and very friendly, responding quickly and making us feel welcome.

The only downside was that the cleanliness could use some improvement. A more thorough clean (especially kitchen dishes, drying rack and stove) would have made the apartment feel perfect.

What a gem of a little cottage, everything you need and more!

The area is very quiet and breathtaking.. property is clean and homely this was home away from home. The stuff was friendly and welcoming.

I didn’t like the fact that I was leaving the place.

The location was great, the cottage itself was spacious and was fully stacked with everything you would need for a stay away from home. All the rooms were sufficiently spacious. Roy the host was always available to assist.

The place needed a deep clean + spring cleaning, most surfaces were quite dusty. The rag in the living room had a stench from collected dog pee. This made a bad odor in the house. My colleague's sinuses were irritated the entire time even after removing the rag. The rooms upstairs did not have privacy, the walls do not go up to the ceiling, and the first room is not demarcated, this was very uncomfortable for a male colleague travelling with a female colleague. I ended up sleeping in the living room while my colleague took upstairs. The dogs are a bit intrusive for a person who is not a dog fan. They easily walk in and out of the cottage if the door is left opened. I am not sure if this only happened when we were there but one of the dachshunds would always come inside the cottage in the morning to pee on the mat.
