Saint Malo 360

Posizione eccezionale. La struttura, con un pizzico di fantasia, sembra ricavata all’interno di un antico faro. L’appartamento è molto curato nei dettagli, perfettamente inserito nel contesto urbano, e offre una vista spettacolare a 240° sul mare e su parte della città. Il tutto accompagnato dal fruscio del vento e dal canto mattutino dei gabbiani, per un’atmosfera davvero suggestiva e rilassante.

Tuttavia, c’è un prezzo da pagare per tutto questo. Le scale a chiocciola sono piuttosto impegnative, soprattutto per raggiungere il quinto piano, e durante la salita un odore non sempre gradevole fa da spiacevole accompagnamento. Anche il costo di 40 euro come extra per la biancheria appare decisamente eccessivo. A questo si aggiunge il fatto di aver trovato a disposizione appena mezzo rotolo di carta igienica, peraltro già iniziato. Nonostante la segnalazione fatta alla struttura, il problema non è stato risolto: la carta è rimasta un miraggio e abbiamo dovuto comprarla. Un vero peccato, perché con qualche piccola attenzione in più la struttura avrebbe potuto meritare senza dubbio il punteggio pieno. Evidentemente, però, non tutti sanno fare ospitalità allo stesso modo.

It was so incredibly beautiful! It does have 360 views of Saint Malo. Location is amazing intramuros, but what location isn’t? Proprietor was responsive.

The listing is VERY MISLEADING. It is situated on the 5th floor (France) / 6th floor (USA). The stairs up are winding, uneven and steep. It is NOT suitable for any kind of suitcase or families. I would not have booked this if I had known about the sixth floor carry-up situation. Even when I shared my ETA, all that I was told was that I needed to go to the last floor to retrieve my key. Sleeping arrangements were misleading. The bed and pull-out couch were not sizes indicated. Bedding and blankets were not adequate. My child and I ended up sleeping with our towels over us as blankets. I was worried the entire time that we may end up injured bringing our suitcases back downstairs. Check out was really early (9:30-10:00)? All of the info is posted in the booking description but some of the nuances were well hidden. WiFi and TV never worked. Garbage was not where it was indicated to be. Never used the kitchen except for the faucet (for tap water) which was not fixated in place. Really only ideal for small parties of 2-3 and back-packers who do not have kids and who are not elderly. I would never stay here again. That being said, the place was clean (though definitely well loved) and the views were incredible. So I tried very hard to focus on the positive.

Die Lage war ganz hervorragend Intra Mures von St Malo mit unglaublich schönem Blick aus jedem der 5 (!) Fenster auf die Altstadt und das Meer. Eine schönere Wohnungslage hatte ich noch nie gesehen! Auch ist St Malo eine ganz sympatische historische Stadt mit netten Menschen. Internet perfekt.

Die Wohnung ist leider sehr stark heruntergekommen (abime) und auch nur ganz billig eingerichtet. Das sehr enge und steile Treppenhausm(4 Stockwerke) ebenfalls. Alles war ziemlich unsauber, das Bett sehr kurz. Eine potentiell so schöne Wohnung verdient eine vollständige Renovierung! Die Kommunikation mit den Haushältern war unzureichend. Sie waren nicht erreichbar und haben auch die Wohnung mit Schlüssel nicht übernommen.

Les 5 étages avec l’escalier très exigu et exigeant. 1 grosse valise ne passe pas, prévoir des sacs pas trop lourds.
