Bluebell Retreat

Lovely caravan, 3 bed with one ensuite. Nice and spacious, kitchen and living room a great size with breakfast bar also and pull out footstalls and coffee table. Great tv and also tv's in 2 of the rooms. Had everything you could want! In the main bedroom was a dressing corner table with light. Lots of cupboard space and hangers! Nice lighting outside for the evening - small balcony but as it made the inside bigger it was worth it. Contactless arrived/key collection. Parking great and literally behind the main complex so perfect location for West Sands. Would highly recommend!

Only a little thing really, the water was slow to drain in the shower and the sink in the main bathroom, apart from that everything was amazing!

Location was great, clean holiday park with lots of things for kids to do. The accommodation was very close to the beach and pool, and there was no noise.

Very homely

Right next to the pebble beach and has first come first served parking bay next to the unit. The caravan looks well presented and very promising but it has issues.

Not everything was clean or worked, saucepan filthy, crockery either unwashed or put back in the cupboard after sitting next to a frying pan all week, shower drainage blocked (1 shower at a time) including bathroom sink. Having seen that this property had no internet, I asked well in advance of arrival if it was just this particular property or if there was Wi-Fi that could be purchased from the resort itself, the owner generously eventually got back to me and said that they had renewed the internet and that it was now available, which was fantastic but when we arrived the password didn't work and even when she said she would be available she never bothered to contact or assist despite my attempts. If you are going to run a business then run a business, make sure it's clean, it works and don't avoid responding to your customers. The caravan itself sits next to the main complex, I'm guessing the engine room for the pool and so some might be woken up by the extractor turbine on top of the building about 50 feet away but the rest of the family never mentioned it. The double bed is a 'small' double (I'm 6ft) and the two twin rooms both have 'fish-finger' sized single mattresses in them, but they were comfortable. I booked a few different accommodations continuing on one from the next but asking basic questions and communications between me and this particular owner was laboured, some three days wait, it didn't matter if it was text, WhatsApp or direct telephone call.
