Villa Salvaje Beach

Near the airport.

The villa completely failed to meet our expectations, and for the price we paid, we really expected a much better quality. The building is old, neglected, dirty, and there was an unpleasant smell of horse manure around, and on the way there we even saw rats. Overall, the impression is that the place is completely unmaintained and lacks basic order and cleanliness. There were more unpleasant surprises upon arrival. We had to clean the outdoor tables and chairs ourselves because the outdoor furniture was so dirty that we didn’t even want to sit on it. One room had no electricity, another had no air conditioning. Such shortcomings are completely incompatible with the image of a quality vacation or event location. Even more disappointment came from the additional services we ordered. The chef we booked served overcooked, tasteless food, which definitely did not meet our expectations. We never received the desserts we ordered – they offered to deliver them the next day, but that made no sense for a birthday celebration. After hiring bartending services, we also ran into unprofessionalism – the bartenders forgot the champagne, so we had to use our own supplies. The most unpleasant situation happened with the fireplace: a corner broke while we were there, and the hostess's reaction was that the €500 deposit supposedly wouldn't be enough. Instead of calmly figuring things out first, extra stress about potential financial claims was immediately caused. The birthday was supposed to be a celebration where we could relax and enjoy time with loved ones, but instead, we had to worry about cleanliness, handle organizational issues, and be disappointed with the services we booked. In short – poor cleanliness, neglected surroundings, messy furniture, non-functioning amenities, and low-quality additional services.
