Sehr gepflegte, neu und geschmackvoll eingerichtete moderne Wohnung. Zentrale Stadtlage, dennoch ruhig. Sympathischer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber.

Casa Dea (House of the Goddess – she features on a fresco outside the building) certainly lives up to its name! It is a gorgeous, newly renovated apartment, tastefully decorated, and super modern with air conditioning and wifi. With its two large double bedrooms and the option of a sofa bed in the living room, it is perfect for a family or group of friends. There’s also a large terrace where you can relax on the swing chair. Alessio, the host, was very kind and helpful, and did his utmost to make my stay enjoyable. It is located in the centre of Paternò, a town on the slopes of Mt. Etna with a Norman castle and other interesting historical buildings. 30 minutes from Catania airport, it is an ideal base for visiting Mt Etna, Catania, the wonderful lidos on the coast, Etnaland – the largest acquapark and theme park in the south of Italy – and hidden gems in Eastern Sicily like Nelson’s castle in Bronte. Casa Dea is ideally situated in the centre of the town with supermarkets, bars and parking spaces nearby.
