Like living in real Sicily! A beautiful old Sicilian home with a great traditional Sicilian kitchen. Loved that it was constructed with lava stone! The working fireplace made for a cozy evening with the family. The large covered patio for meals was wonderful and the place had a lot of rustic charm. Lots of lovely little details. The main bedroom downstairs was lovely. The added upstairs rooms were very small and had no windows. We would come back and stay longer next time! Such a great place.
It was very difficult to open the big metal front door and the side door was difficult too. When we arrived, the smoke smell in the house from the fireplace was extremely strong and we couldn’t get the living room door open to get fresh air in.

Die Lage ist traumhaft, aber auch recht abgeschieden. Einrichtung rustikal, aber sehr schön und sauber.
Ideal, wenn man anti-touristisch oder mit Kindern reist - die meisten sehenswerten Ortschaften (z.B. Taormina oder Syracuse) sind mit dem Auto (ohne Mautstraßen) innerhalb von 45-90 min erreichbar.
Gut ausgestattete Küche, sehr schöner Außenbereich und hübsches Bad inkl. Waschmaschine!
Es war der Jahreszeit entsprechend recht kühl. Der Ofen (Kamin) funktioniert nur bedingt und wenn man beide E-Heizungen benutzt, fliegt die Sicherung raus. Im Sommer sicherlich wesentlich angenehmer.
Anfahrt gewöhnungsbedürftig - man sollte gut Auto fahren können und keinen zu großen Wagen besitzen.

La posizione la casa il giardino il parcheggio privato e l'accoglienza del proprietario
Dovrebbe essere riscaldata un po' meglio un po' fredda la cucina e il camino nn va tanto anche se è stato alimentato tutti i giorni
