Old Saroy Hotel Guest House

Равсположение очень удобное, в шаговой доступности основные достопромечательности, базар напротив отеля. Завтрак сытный. Номер чистый, мебель новая, есть все необходимое для проживания. Хозяин доброжелательный, готовый всегда помочь.

Жесткий матрас, но так приято в Узбекистане.

very new room - so new that half of furniture was still wrapped in foil as well as TV and some bulbs were missing

breakfast was ok - a lot of it (fruit, pastry, sweets) but I would assume a better bread from family owned bakery thin walls and entry door close to reception clogged showed

Great value for money. Spacious room, large bathroom, plenty of hot water, Smart TV. Spotlessly clean and perfectly located — right by the Siab Bazaar and just a short walk from the main attractions. Breakfast was excellent, and the staff were incredibly attentive and easy to communicate with. I truly appreciated the pick‑up from the train station and the transfer to the airport at the end of our stay (even at a very early hour). The somsa is wonderful, baked in the family’s own bakery. Those with a sweet tooth will love the delicious pastries in the ground-floor confectionery, also made in-house. There’s also a shared balcony where we enjoyed our coffee.

Nothing negative, only to mention that the treakfast is served in the pastry shop next to the guesthouse, which is often quite crowded. Of course, the fact that the breakfast is delicious more than makes up for this! Unfortunately, natural coffee is not served at breakfast — only instant — but we encountered this at all our accommodations in Uzbekistan. Since we love real coffee, we prepared our own using the kettle in the room and enjoyed it on the guesthouse balcony. We don’t consider this a drawback; we mention it only for those who, like us, prefer natural coffee.
