One of my best ever Booking.Com experiences. I treated my partner for 2 nights built around our first night event at Halifax Piece Hall.
Walk through a red door into a homely experience. Your own little lobby with a view of the river through the window. A mini fridge with complimentary milk (I was asked for my preference a few days before) and Cider.
Bourbon biscuits, tea and coffee. Funky light shades and instruction cards and skylights.
There is train station 10 minutes walk in Mytholmroyd Village. Plenty of great cafe choices.
This is on the Leeds to Manchester line (including Halifax).
25 minute walk alongside the Rochdale Canal to Hebden Bridge.
Helen is the perfect host. Making dogs look beautiful in her downstairs space. Making her guests feel beautiful and welcome throughout our whole stay.

When i got there, Helen the host welcomed me warmly and introduced me to her beautiful dog. She checked if pets were ok with me but reassured me that she would keep her dog out of the way regardless . Helen then gave me a tour of my lodgings, explaining where everything was and asking if I needed any more towels or blankets. In the room, Helen had set up little information cards such as how to use the remote for the tv. In the little alcove area before you go upstairs to your room, Helen had set up a mini fridge to be able to put food in or keep your milk cold. Also in there on the shelves were cutlery, plates and information sheets such as local reasturants, cafes, local takeaway menus and even information leaflets on local attractions. Everything was so organised, informative and very welcoming. The area was quiet of a night time and the bedroom overall was very cozy. A perfect little get away especially if you live in a busy city and without a doubt a value for money. Helen was a fantastic host and I would indefinitely stay there again.
