Very spacious house in a spectacular location overlooking the river. Very nicely furnished. Due to being built on a tall river bank, the front door and main living accommodation are on the top floor, with the bedrooms one floor down, and the games room in the basement, which is an interesting layout. Great position for exploring the causeway coast. Our host Angus could not have been more attentive, nothing was too much trouble.
The kitchen is slightly odd in terms of layout, but I know that the host is planning to knock through to change it for the better. That's honestly the worst thing I can think of, which really had very little impact on our enjoyment of the house anyway. Otherwise, nothing really. We would certainly stay here again.

Our family stayed in River Cottage for one night and we absolutely loved it! The attention to detail was outstanding! Angus was so friendly and approachable, and thought of everything, right down to the beautiful wine and snacks on arrival. His home is stunning and the pool table was the highlight of the stay for our son! We will definitely be back, but hopefully for longer next time

Angus met me at the property and gave me a tour explaining how things worked.
He said we could contact him anytime with questions, and to be fair he was straight back to us with answers. Angus also left us a lovely little welcome package.

The house was big and spacious with more than enough room for the 5 of us. The beds were comfy and the rooms were well kept. The location is great for access to the north coast and surrounding area. The house is right by the river with a nice view from the balcony and in a quiet area. The host, Angus, gave us a tour upon our arrival and was pleasant and attentive and even left us some snacks.
We had few issues with the house and would be glad to stay there again
