Le Nomad - Perpignan center

I made this reservation for my young-adult daughter, who was traveling with a friend over Spring Break, so this review is based on her impressions. My interactions with the host were excellent -- she is responsive, very kind and polite, as well as very efficient in dealing with issues. The apartment is well-situated, near restaurants and shops. The girls enjoyed the local scene, as well as doing some cooking of their own. They too called on the host on a couple of occasions and spoke very highly of her. All in all, the apartment was an excellent value, in a very good location, and hosted by a lady who was a pleasure to interact with. The two girls had plenty of space, each in a separate bedroom, and the apartment could have accommodated a family.

There were a couple of hiccups, but all were resolved quickly thanks to the wonderful host. We live in a different time zone, so we waited a bit longer than necessary for the door timer to send us the code. The code was an old one, as the cleaning crew had just changed it, but it was simple and rapid to get the correct code. The apartment smelled a bit of smoke from the previous guests, and the host apologized profusely (even though she could not have done anything to prevent the guests from smoking, which is prohibited in the apartment). She sent scented candles and a fan, then followed up to make sure the smell got away quickly. Another issue that other reviews mentioned is that of noise. Some neighbors complained that our girls were speaking loudly at night, while the girls also heard neighbors speaking in adjacent apartments, through the rather thin walls. Lastly, the girls mentioned that they would have liked to have more towels and trash bags. From my interactions with the host, I would strongly suspect that they did not ask -- and if they had asked, the host would have graciously provided what they needed.

Un appartement avec deux vraies chambres au centre de Perpignan. Tout est pensé pour l'accueil de visiteurs : paquets hygiénique, snacks, cafés, ventilateurs, ... C'est exactement ce qu'on attend de ce type d'hébergement.

Pas grand chose, si on parle de l'appartement. Attention la place n'est pas toujours très bien fréquentée.

En general molt bé, net i molt ben situat. En el pis hi havia tot el què es pugui necessitar per passar uns dies (tovalloles, kit neteja personal i per la cuina, secador, planxa...).

No hi havia aire condicionat (si uns ventiladors) però vam obrir finestres i a l'estar en un carrer molt animat, hi va haver soroll fins tard.
