About this villa rental

Discover your own slice of paradise at Golden Sunset Villa, a coastal retreat where modern comfort meets Florida charm. Just half a block from Golden Beach, this 3-bedroom, 3-bath getaway offers over 2,700 sq. ft. of bright, open living space designed to make every moment unforgettable.

Step inside and feel the calm of sunlit rooms, breezy layouts, and seamless transitions from indoors to outdoors. The heart of the home opens to a covered lanai and a sparkling heated saltwater pool, perfect for slow mornings, poolside afternoons, or starlit evenings with family and friends. The master suite is your private sanctuary, complete with poolside access, a spacious walk-in closet, and a spa-inspired bath featuring both a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. Two additional en suite bedrooms ensure everyone has their own comfort zone. One has a plush king bed and another is ideal for extended stays, accommodating up to six guests. Multiple living areas, from the stylish drop-down lounge to the cozy sitting room off the kitchen, give you space to unwind after sun-soaked adventures.

When it’s time to explore, your deeded Golden Beach access is just 500 feet away with private parking, shaded picnic tables, and a barbecue area for effortless beach days. Venice is also known as the Shark Tooth Capital of the World. The shoreline is famous for its fossilized shark teeth, treasures that wash up from the ancient fossil bed just offshore. Spend your afternoons beachcombing for these million-year-old keepsakes, strolling along the Venice Fishing Pier, or cycling the Legacy Trail. Kayaking, boating, and paddleboarding are close by, while golf lovers will find several scenic courses within a short drive.

As the day winds down, head to historic downtown Venice, where palm-lined streets are alive with boutique shops, art galleries, live music, and coastal dining. Nature seekers can venture to Myakka River State Park or Caspersen Beach for hiking and wildlife viewing, while a short drive north takes you to Sarasota’s cultural gems and the world-renowned sands of Siesta Key.

At Golden Sunset Villa, every day is more than just a stay. It is a chance to soak in Florida’s beauty, uncover ancient treasures on the beach, and create memories that feel like they’ll last forever.

We arrived to find a tray of snacks, a charcuterie board and fresh strawberries waiting for us in the house. The kids jumped right into the heated pool. It was just a 3 minute walk to the beach access. We went there every night for sunset. During the day, we also looked for sharks teeth and shells at that beach during low tide. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay - pool floats, board games, kitchen items, beach chairs and tools to hunt for sharks teeth. This is usually at least a two week minimum rental but there was a gap so we were lucky enough to be able to stay here for a shorter period of time. The host lives nearby and was responsive to questions that we had. I definitely recommend it for a nice family getaway.
