Beautifully Remodeled La Victoria -vacation home

This remodeled home was beautiful, super clean and very well designed with two suite areas. The heated pool was lovely and a view from the living room area. It was very helpful to have an additional refrigerator. The house is a short drive to the beach. Aneta was very responsive to our questions and helpful. We would stay in this home again.

Amazing place to stay! Clean, spacious, and very cozy. The house had everything we needed to cook and clean. Pool was warm and our kids loved it. The hosts were very easy to communicate with and answered all our questions promptly. Hope to come back one day!

This was our first time vacationing for Christmas and we could not have asked for a better trip! The house was perfect. The kids enjoyed the pool every chance they got. The location is perfect, grocery stores, restaurants, beaches were all within 5-15 min drives with some being just around the corner. Our favorite beach was Manasota Key which was a very short drive from the house. If you like shark teeth, we booked a shark tooth excursion with Fossil Recovery Exploration located in Arcadia about an hour away. We found some amazing teeth including a couple megs! The kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. We also enjoyed eating at the Pineapple Tequila Grill and Cantina. It was just a 5 min drive down the road. Pros: Excellent salt water pool (claims to be heated but I don't believe it was). Somewhat updated kitchen Beach items were helpful Appreciated the baby high chair Great washer and dryer Plenty of fridge space Decent master shower Nice TV with Netflix Cons: The beds were awful! First of all they were nearly directly on the floor. I had to ask for box springs to be delivered so my parents could get out of bed. The mattresses were terrible. No joke, prison mattresses (we have family that works for DOC, they are the same brand they use in the prisons). I would challenge the owners to sleep on these. Mattresses. I did appreciate the box spring delivery and mad the manager aware of how terrible the mattresses were during our stay. Visited friends at similar VRBOs in Venice (one being 3 minutes drive from this house) that were much much nicer and the same size. The tiniest of dressers in the master with no furniture to put your luggage. Not a fan of rummaging through my bag on the floor for a week. The water smells of suffer and tastes bad. You must by bottled. Half of the electrical outlets in the master and twin bedroom did not work (manager made aware). My dad with us is a licensed building inspector and contractor, noticed quite a few odd construction flaws. I'm guessing this was a flip house with a mediocre remodel. Needed dish towels and dish cloths (which we purchased and left behind for the next guest) I have stayed in quite a few VRBOs as its often our preferred way to travel. This place was the worst one. Will not stay here again. We enjoyed Venice and (other than our tine in the pool) glad we had many reasons to get out of the house.
