Yates Cottage is set in an idyllically beautiful location, is spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped, tastefully decorated and has comfortable beds. Our hosts, Andy and Sue were gracious, sociable and fun to engage with. The welcome basket of goodies was 5-star. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

We have literally just got back home after a weeks stay and already wishing we were still there. Beautiful remote location, a wonderful cottage with everything you need for a stay away from home and to top it all brilliant hosts. The welcome hamper is great! Andy and Sue were very welcoming and always willing to help or advise if needed but also left you to your own devices if that’s what you wanted. Lots to do locally for all activities and Pateley Bridge, a few miles away, has great butchers, a bakers and local Spar for everyday essentials. All in all a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend. We will certainly book again whenever we visit Yorkshire next. Al and Francesca

The property far exceeded our expectations. The welcome hamper was amazing and the best we have ever had in 34 years of self catering holidays.
The hosts were very warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Overall an amazing excellent holiday. They even included good weather!

Turning into the drive, we were met with daffodils, sheep and lambs - calm, relaxing. Then, entering the cottage we were met with fresh scones and a lovely welcome hamper. After a day out exploring we enjoyed sitting by the log burner with a glass of wine. There are easy walks from the door, convenient for quality shops in Harrogate with many historic sites nearby. Andy and Sue were excellent hosts, keen to ensure we had everything we needed. Will hopefully return on future visits from Canada.
