We had a wonderful stay and can highly recommend this apartment. The hospitality and communication were truly outstanding. A special thank you goes to Fatima, who went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. She gave her absolute best for us, was always available when needed, and made us feel completely at home. Fatima is truly a blessing. The apartment itself is beautifully designed, elegant, and tastefully furnished. It was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only thing to keep in mind is the location: it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Medina. However, this is hardly an issue, as the local petit taxis are readily available and cost only around €1 per ride, making it very easy and inexpensive to get around. Overall, an excellent experience that exceeded our expectations. We would happily stay here again.

The staff managing the property were very kind, and communication with them was smooth and pleasant throughout our stay. When we reported a problem with leaking water in the toilet, someone came immediately and fixed it. Replies to our questions on WhatsApp also arrived almost instantly. Check-in was quick and convenient. The apartment was functional, also had a terrace, and was located in a lovely part of Essaouira, where we could really experience the atmosphere of authentic Morocco.

The main issue with this property was the smell coming from the sewage system. It was so strong that we had to use the shower and toilet with the bathroom door open and the terrace door open as well. Keeping the doors open was not a problem in itself, but although we travel a great deal, this was the first time we had experienced such an intense sewage smell, and unfortunately it significantly lowers our rating. The second issue was the very limited parking space. When parking, it was necessary to be careful not to block other vehicles and to make sure that other cars would still be able to get out. The parking area itself was also located along a rather narrow passage used by moving vehicles. In our view, places like this should not really be marked with a “parking” icon, because by that standard parking could be said to exist almost anywhere. It is genuinely unpleasant for me to write this, because, as I mentioned, the people managing the property were very kind.
