Hotel Transylvania - Negombo

Nice small family run hotel, comfortable and clean. Really good breakfast.

We stayed here twice, at the beginning of our trip in Sri Lanka and at the end. The owners are very kind and helpful. We were even able to leave some bags of luggage for the full 3,5 weeks we traveled Sri Lanka.

Todo muy limpio, la habitación grande, la piscina me encantó, y los dueños maravillosos. El desayuno estuvo muy bueno.

We arrived late at night well after check in time. This was much appreciated. Room was very clean with good shower and beds. The room amenities and WIFI were both excellent. Swimming pool was sparkling clean as was the rest of the premises. English is spoken and the staff made us feel very welcome. They had great local knowledge and assisted with onward travel information. Restaurants and supermarkets are close by and we felt very safe walking around. The restaurant we were recommended to eat at was fantastic and truly enjoyable.

Breakfast was small but enjoyable, its the same each morning. Some fruit juice and a piece of fruit would go a long way to improve the breakfast. The Airport pickup the hotel provides at a charge did not go smoothly and needs to improve, there was no one waiting at the airport for us as advised and we had to contact the hotel. This caused a significant delay.
