Basic interior Apartment Sagrada Familia Excellent for exploring Barcelona Very good location

Very good location, the apartment is very well equipped with everything you might need, the host also left water, coffee and some sweets.

Our stay at the Basic Interior Apartment - Sagrada Familia property was pleasant enough. It is exactly as described, basic and interior which means it has no windows to let in natural light. However, this was not a problem for us. The apartment itself was clean, tidy, and equipped with most of the things we needed for our stay. We stayed in the middle of winter and the apartment was warm and cosy. Great heating! The location is excellent — the Sagrada Familia is literally about 150 metres away! It was very easy to get to all the major attractions, either on foot or via the metro. As a fit family, we chose to walk everywhere and found it very manageable. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and despite being so close to the Basilica, prices were surprisingly reasonable. Communication with the owners is easy and they are very responsive.

A few things can be easily fixed / improved with some simple general maintenance by the owners. 1. Shower screen needs to be replaced, it came off the runners several times during our stay. 2. Despite saying the mattress / bed in the double room has been replaced, it hasn't. The slope in the bed is still there. 3. There are only 3 forks - this was a problem for a family of 4. A quick trip to IKEA to top up the cutlery drawer. 4. No plug for the kitchen sink 5. The washing machine leaked all over the floor, the filters probably need a clean out. 6. The door locks could use some silicone spray. We had so many messages about being careful with the keys / locks / locksmiths etc. The door is very tricky to open, so be careful and take your time when doing so.
