Lake McMurray Lodge is nestled along an expansive private lakefront and surrounded by five sprawling pastoral acres adorned with seasonal blueberry bushes, apple and pear trees, meadow grasses, and Skagit Valley’s serene landscape.
A mated pair of bald eagles takes residence directly across the lake-- be sure to listen as they call to each other. If you’re lucky, you may even spot them diving for trout! Feel free to use the breakfast nook binoculars for an even closer look.
ACCOMMODATIONS:
Comfort... with a view! Lake McMurray Lodge offers sleeping accommodations for 10-12 people. Our main floor queen-size murphy bed and den with built-in desk provide accessibility and convenient work-from-”home” flexibility.
Upstairs, you’ll find four additional bedrooms, each outfitted with hotel-quality mattresses and layers of soft, inviting bedding. Two lakeview queen-size bedrooms are equipped with spacious closets, cozy lighting for when you just can’t put the book down, and convenient charging ports (devices need to recharge, too!) A pair of twin-size beds await in our fourth bedroom along with a large closet and whimsical décor. Poised privately in its own wing of the second story is the restorative primary suite, whose views of the lake are simply unmatched.
KITCHEN/DINING:
Enjoy dining space for all, with a large farmhouse-style table with seating for 8, a cozy breakfast nook with seating for 4, and utensils + place settings for up to 12 people. The fully-stocked kitchen includes a gas stove, double oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and pantry. A Cuisinart coffee pot, electric griddle, electric kettle, toaster, crockpot, and full set of pots and pans are provided for your culinary endeavors.
INDOOR ENTERTAINMENT:
Our game room is a hit with guests of all ages! Enjoy commercial-quality foosball, air hockey, pinball, virtual golf + bowling, and more in the spacious upper level game room. A wide range of family-friendly board games, playing cards, and puzzles are available for guests' use, as well!
The home also has two smart TV's conveniently located in the fireside lounge space and the family room, offering easy access to your favorite streaming services.
For our youngest guests, a thoughtful collection of books, building blocks, and puzzles are available in the game room cabinetry.
OUTDOOR FEATURES:
Off the open-concept living and dining room, you'll find a cozy screened-in gazebo with propane fire table and comfortable lounge seating along with opportunities to dine alfresco on the large lakefront deck.
The lake awaits! Kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, inflatable lake toys, and more are available in the boatshed.
**Safety first!** Please exercise caution on the water. We have many USCG-approved life vests available in a variety of sizes, ranging from Infant - Adult 4XL. Please verify weight requirements and ensure a proper fit, and always closely supervise children and non-swimming individuals near bodies of water.

This is one of the most organized and cleanest homes I’ve rented. The hostess has thought of everything including a little basket of things you might need like a toothbrush etc. There was a very nice welcome basket and note as well. The game room is so fun and we made good use of the paddle boards and kayaks as well. Watching the fish jump in the lake and the eagles fishing was a highlight for many. It’s a quiet lake perfect for swimming and relaxing . Highly recommend this house!

Not only was Anna’s place beautiful but it was so thoughtful, from supplying us with goodies to make s’mores to having a closet full of items you can help yourself to if you forgot anything. She even went as far as displaying a welcome photo on the tv that matched our bachelorette theme. It was an easy check in process, great communication, definitely recommend booking!

The Magic 8 ball says “Stay Here”Staying at this house is different, it feels like a close friend or family member is letting you hangout, and truly left you things they thought you might need or want to use. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper, but also beach towels, and goggles, and good life jackets for toddlers to adults, and a few supplies you might need like sunscreen or a toothbrush. In the kitchen we found a wonderful welcome basket, some bottled water in the fridge, and the makings for s’mores in the pantry, along with all the things needed to cook and clean (and you didn’t feel like you had to wash everything before you could use it). All of the beds and pillows were actually comfortable. There were blackberries and blueberries for picking, and still to ripen apples. The kids in our group found the lake a bit cold for anything other than a quick jump, but enjoyed the pedal boat and fishing. They loved the game room, but also played with some of the games provided (the Magic 8 ball was a big hit!). We were there over the 4th of July, the house was decorated for the holiday, and we were treated to a community boat parade, and a competition between several neighbors for who could put on the best fireworks display. With all the space inside and outside, our group of eight was able to spread out and never felt crowded. A truly wonderful place! Thank you for sharing your home.

We had a wonderful weeklong stay at Lake McMurray Lodge- highly recommend! Space was ample, beds were comfy, and the house was well-equipped with games/supplies/equipment. Quick access to the lake was great and really defined our stay. Lastly, the location provides convenient access to Mt Baker/NCNP, San Juan Islands, and even Vancouver. Thanks for hosting us!
