- The pool and spa operate on a shared heating system; when the pool heat is active, the spa will maintain the same temperature as the pool. The spa heat and jets are unavailable when the pool heat is on

We enjoyed our time in Desert Hot Springs. The property was very spacious and perfect for our family get together. It was especially well suited for our dog, with a separate fenced, grassy area away from the pool, and even a doggy door. It is certainly off the beaten path (dirt access road), but the unobstructed desert and mountain views were well worth it. It was also not so remote that we had any trouble with Uber/Lyft finding the house.I only gave 4 stars for cleanliness because when we showed up, all of the dumpsters were overflowing (the previous occupants had clearly thrown a massive party), and even on trash day, only 2 of the 3 were emptied. But the rest of the property was clean, and the pool was crystal clear.

Property was clean and as discribe, I didn't read the pool and hot tub requirements, ( need to paid extra) so hot tub was cold, but also was not a good time to use the pool because was too windy.
place overall is great I will says that they do mention it is dirt road but they need to give little more detail, from GPS directions you almost need a 4x4 vehicle. from the other side it is easy to make it,
house has a garage that you can't use which is ok, but having the lights on and not sure if the noises are from the garage or the wind kinda creepy to think that someone is in the garage, I will suggest to turn off that light.

My friends and I had a great time at Miriam’s place! The house is huge with beautiful mountain views, and it has a great pool and jacuzzi. We loved stargazing at night on the lounge chairs in the backyard. There is no air pollution, so the sky was clear, and we even saw some shooting stars. The house is about 25 minutes away from Palm Springs, and it was really easy to get there. Overall, I would absolutely recommend staying here!Two things to note for future guests: 1) there are two ways to get to the house. Both go over dirt roads, but one of the routes takes much longer and has more hill and dips. Take the entrance from Hacienda street. 2) there are two air-conditioning units in the house. The first one cools down the front half of the house, including the living room and the first bedroom. The second air-conditioning unit is near the master bedroom, and it cools down the back half of the house. My friends and I didn’t realize that there were two air-conditioning units, and my friends in the back half of the house were much hotter at night because the air wasn’t on. This is totally our own fault for not checking more thoroughly, but I just wanted to give a heads up to future travelers.
