About this house rental
This 928 sqft house has everything you need for monthly stays. Two bedrooms hold queen beds, closets, dressers, and blackout curtains. A third room serves as a dedicated office with two desks, two office chairs, and one computer monitor. The living room holds a couch, two armchairs, a smart TV with Roku, a washing machine, and a dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a stove, oven, chef sink, microwave, and new refrigerator. The dining room seats four. The bathroom has a shower/bath, sink, vanity, and cabinet. The provided internet has a 1.2 TB monthly limit. If you need to increase that, we can do so for an additional fee.
We have lovingly decorated and updated the house since buying it. Each room has been painted to reflect one of Colorado’s ecosystems, complemented by our original photographs. The house features carpet, air conditioning, furnace, and refrigerator installed in 2025. The hardwood floors were refinished in 2023 and the attic and crawlspace were reinsulated in 2022.
Outside is a fenced backyard with a patio and table that seats four. The driveway fits two cars. Since 2022, the owners have been restoring a mini native prairie on the property. Thousands of native plants fill the yard with color and life in the summer. They attract hummingbirds, goldfinches, butterflies, and other pollinators. Due to Colorado's extreme drought and spring windstorms in 2026, the native plants in part of the backyard are a little sparse.
The house is in a nice residential neighborhood close to the best that Fort Collins has to offer. Walk into Old Town for restaurants, breweries, bars, stores, and events. Stroll through the beautiful, historic Old Town neighborhoods. Bike or walk half a mile down the street to the grocery store. Bike to Colorado State University in seven minutes. Drive into Lory State Park or Roosevelt National Forest in just 25 minutes.
