1Zi Beachfront Resort

I had a really nice stay here overall. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, which was definitely one of the highlights for me. The staff were lovely, especially Happyness at the front desk. She was incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay, arranged my excursions for me, and was always available whenever I needed anything. She really made my stay so much easier and more enjoyable.

There was no comforter on the bed, and there were quite a few electricity outages during my stay without any backup power, which could be inconvenient.

Beachfront guesthouse with amazing views. We took beautiful pictures here. The thatch roofed restaurant and swimming pool were an icing on the cake.

I missed a desk or a chair in my room and a full length mirror. They should at least provide a microwave and bar fridge in the kitchen. I know it's B&B but those things also matter. Also, provide a kitchen sink.

What I genuinely loved about this place was the beachfront location and the infinity pool, which offers a beautiful view of the entire beach. They also have a restaurant and shisha, making it a nice spot to relax and chill by the pool. The price is definitely affordable, and the location is great, with easy access to Jambiani. The views and overall setting are what initially attracted us to book this hotel.

They clearly invested a lot in the swimming pool and the beautiful views, which seem to be their main selling points. Honestly, I was sold as soon as I saw the photos, so I booked right away without taking the time to read the reviews. Unfortunately, I later discovered that there were several negative reviews online, and sadly, I experienced similar issues during our stay. We complained 3–4 times about the shower because there was barely any water pressure. I had to use the bidet to wash my body, while my husband had to use the shower by the pool. We stayed from October 15–18, and one night we had to sleep without electricity. There was no air conditioning, no lighting, and no one even informed us about what was happening. We had to open the windows to get some air, which unfortunately let mosquitoes in, and we ended up with mosquito bites. The electricity also kept going on and off every day. On top of everything, we also experienced what appeared to be bedbug bites, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this place for families, especially unless management addresses these issues and improves the overall experience. We came here hoping to enjoy our holiday, but unfortunately, this hotel really ruined our week. That said, if you're simply looking for an affordable place to stay and prioritize the pool and the view over comfort and facilities, this might be an option for you. The photos are definitely attractive, but based on our experience, there is a lot that needs improvement.
