Il Civico 2

This was the perfect place to end our vacation. We picked Civico 2 for it's proximity to the airport. It did not disappoint. Great for a short stay.

Parking was a challenge. No street parking where the B & B is located. You have to park on surrounding streets.

We needed a basic and clean room for the night before our 6:30am flight out of Bari. So our expectations are for that. Plus being spotless, it also didn't have any musty or "old building smell". This place perfectly met our expectations. Plus, the shared kitchen and large fridge in the entry way made it easy to spend that night repacking properly for the plane (we had a bit of a shuffle of items between what can go in checked bags/carry on bags) and not having to spend time at a restaurant for dinner. The streets are narrow (one way, mostly). I could pull may car up right to the front door to unload luggage (at around 7pm, no traffic to block). But I did have to drive in and out of several streets before finding a parking spot about an 8 minute walk away (all spots are free in this area.) It is only a few km to the airport, so a very quick trip, door to door. I would definitely stay here again for one night if my flight is early. If my flight is in the afternoon, I would rather stay an extra night in (or very close to) Bari Centro Storico (the old part.)

Note that the location is not charming, nor is it centrally located for sight seeing in old Bari. But it's great for the night before an early flight.

Easy to access and close to airport! Lovely breakfast experience as well.
