Yali Suites Bed and Breakfast

Rien

The location was great, easy to get to by taking one single bus from the airport (for 1€) (otherwise taxis/uber or the shuttle service is 30€), enough pubs and restaurants with good service around, the area is lively and very comfortable, feeling like a little residential neighbourhood, not at all too touristy. The accommodation was clean, we were able to check in later than the time specified due to our late flight, and didn’t have issues finding it. Good value for money, comfortable bed, amiable host, big plus for the air conditioning.

Unfortunately the accommodation features at least 2 rooms with a shared kitchen that was right outside our door, so the noise level made it impossible to sleep. You could hear each coffee mug, each spoon, down to the exact time at 6 am when the other guests started brewing their coffee and washing the dishes. Same goes for for the front door, which was right in front of our room’s door. One other issue was the toilet, this was a mistake on our part for not looking closely at the pictures, but the bathroom is a separated from the bed by a mere frosted glass wall with a sliding glass door. While you could not see through it, everything else was completely out in the open, all the sound, smell, everything. So if bathroom privacy is an issue, this should be taken into account.
