The Burleigh palace

It was very clean and comfortable , the location was good and comms with the owners was very good.

The weather was very hot when we stayed, so the flat was hot. There was a fan, but having one for both bedrooms would have been nice.

The size, location, decor and facilities in the apartment. The area also felt safe, secure and it was an easy walk into the town centre (less than 10 minutes).

Unfortunately, there were initial issues with parking, toilet rolls, no hairdryer and no internet/wifi. Having collected the keys and left our luggage in the apartment, I drove to where I was advised to park (less than 5 mins drive and even less to walk). However, on arrival there were no obvious parking spaces - all stated 'permit' required. I then parked in the Grafton Car Park and contacted the Host who responded immediately with a photo showing the car parking space. He then explained he would wait for me to bring my car round. He very kindly and patiently waited for almost 15 mins (I had to collect my car from the Grafton Car Park) and I was then able to park my car until the day of departure. Toilet rolls were provided, a brand new hair-dryer was delivered and the internet/wi-fi sorted. The Host was patient, polite and responded to my text messages quickly. Very much appreciated.

Very clean and modern. Good sized bedrooms. Nice bathrooms

Untidy at the rear of the property( bins, broken glass) Wouldn’t feel safe in a dark night at the rear of the property ( where you enter). Very loud from upstairs flat ( resident lives there), and the street below. Parking not on site (approx 350 metres away on a different street). No cleaning products or tea towels Only 1 towel per person for 3 nights Only 3 wine glasses 2 tumbler glasses Not enough cutlery No extra oven wear and microwaveable bowls It’s says 24hr front desk? Terrace dangerous, it’s a flat roof with no railings and the flat above throw their black bin bags in it. We counted 10! No Tumble dryer No Dishwasher A bit mis sold if you ask me.

Very comfortable and clean property. Perfectly located.
