Loved the location, smack in the middle of the hustle of HCM

Nothing I didn’t like but my partner couldn’t stand the street noise. Be prepared for noise till about midnight and from 5am.

Super convenient location. Large space. Great for 5-6 people. Host was very responsive.

Loud in the evenings. Neighbor below was playing music until 3am every night. Noise in the two bedrooms on the main street is very high. Bring ear plugs.

The location was great, not far from the tourist areas and walking distance to our favourite Bo Kho, lots of eateries outside and along the street including fantastic pho in the alley leading to the apartment and a breakfast place at the end of the street. The apartment has a quirky cute layout, one bedroom was ensuite. The host was great, met us on arrival, took us through the apartment, was quick to respond to messages.

It was quite possibly the loudest place we have ever stayed, the lower bedroom is street facing, directly above a restaurant and has a wall of single glaze windows - that are like there is no window for sound, noise until 2am then restarts at 5am, honking, street chatter, laughing, normal city sounds, just clear as day, plates being scrapped, plates being washed, the street being cleaned, motorbikes and cars passing. No problem - I live in Asia, lived in central London for 20 years, am used to noise, I bought ear plugs for the second day. Except that noise was added to by someone blasting music that started at 10pm and went on until almost 3am - we slept on the floor in the living room to get some quieter place. We left one night early so we could get some sleep. The owner was apologetic and said he would report the noise but the front rooms need double glazing or changing the layout to swap the bedroom with the living room.
