Our stay at Tracy Ben Thanh Tower was, unfortunately, a very stressful experience for our family. We booked this property through Agoda because it was advertised as a family-friendly, 5-star accommodation, but the reality was far from what was promised. The lobby staff were polite, accommodating, and always willing to help. However, whenever we needed assistance, we were directed to the unit owner. Unfortunately, our experience with the person managing the unit was extremely disappointing. She was rude, unhelpful, and unwilling to accommodate even the simplest requests. We asked for extra pillowcases and replacement towels, only to be told that additional charges would apply for these basic necessities. We were also charged additional fees for extra guests, which came as an unpleasant surprise and added to our frustration. The condition of the unit was unacceptable. It was dusty, poorly maintained, and appeared very old. Several floor tiles had popped up throughout the apartment, creating both an inconvenience and a potential safety hazard. The bathroom was dirty upon our arrival, and the overall cleanliness fell well below even basic standards. I have attached photos showing the actual condition of the unit. We stayed for 7 day's, yet housekeeping was scheduled only once during our entire stay. Even then, they refused to replace our used towels and instead told us to wash and reuse them. As a result, we had to do our own laundry just to have clean towels. We also ended up cleaning the apartment ourselves because it was not maintained to an acceptable standard. What should have been a relaxing family vacation turned into time spent cleaning the unit and dealing with avoidable problems instead of enjoying the city. It was frustrating, inconvenient, and certainly not the experience we expected from a property marketed as a 5-star accommodation. I have been booking through Agoda for many years and have stayed in accommodations around the world. This is the first time I have had such a disappointing experience. In previous stays, any minor issues were handled promptly and professionally. Unfortunately, that was not the case here. We tried to avoid unnecessary stress during our vacation, but the poor condition of the unit, the unexpected additional charges, and the lack of support from the unit owner made that impossible. I had been looking forward to staying at this property, but this experience taught me that the listing photos can be very misleading. The actual condition of the unit was completely different from what was advertised. I sincerely hope the management improves the cleanliness, maintenance, housekeeping standards, customer service, and transparency regarding additional fees. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this property to families looking for a clean, comfortable, and hassle-free stay.
