The cabins have beautiful views across the grassland to the water. I recommend the boat tour of the mangrove forest, We saw herons, flamingos, pelicans and a racoon - it was brilliant. We even saw a monkey in the tree near our cabin. At night the sky was filled with stars. Staff were friendly. Beds were comfortable.
No AC. The heat was manageable with the fans and frequent showers, but it would be more comfortable with air conditioning.

Breakfast and coffee were authentic costa rican style food and it was so delicious, fresh, and it was fun to watch Mariano cook for us!

SUCH a special place! The staff are exceptional. Loved our boat trips in the mangrove swamp. Different birds can be seen on the water, along the hiking paths, at the salt flats, and in the mangroves. Hearty, healthy food. The pool is great!
