Beautiful accommodations, outstanding views, gorgeous pool.

Hot water was problematic. Lots of stairs and multi-levels.

The staff took exceptional care of my entire family during our 2-night stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. The property was breathtaking and I can't wait to come back in the future!

Great location on the hill overlooking San Juan Del Sur. Pretty room and grounds.

There is no reception and I was only able to communicate with staff through WhatsApp. When we arrived, it took some time for someone to meet us and check us in. Also, there was not daily made service. We asked for the room to be cleaned and it took a couple of days.. when I asked for extra towels I would told that we would be charged for extra towels.

The view was spectacular, and the cleanliness of our villa was excellent. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed to cook meals, which was a big plus for our family. The rooms had AC that worked well, and the pools were clean and well maintained. Security was tight and ensured that only guests were allowed to enter the property, which made us feel safe. Because there were not many other guests during our stay, we often had the pool area to ourselves, which was very enjoyable. The rocking chairs on the front patio were a great touch. Sitting there during sunset, with a clear view of the Cristo de la Misericordia statue, was definitely a highlight of our stay.

The resort does not have a formal front desk, so all communication is handled through WhatsApp, which can feel inconvenient. There is also a daily electricity usage limit, and guests may be charged if they exceed it. Before our arrival, the resort attempted to collect a deposit, which I declined based on Booking.com’s policy stating payment should be made at check-in or check-out. Although this was resolved, it caused unnecessary back-and-forth. We experienced a couple of power outages, and the Wi-Fi was very unreliable despite reporting the issue. The property has many stairs, which made it difficult for the grandparents we traveled with. This resort is not senior-friendly or accessible, and the upstairs shower in our villa drained very slowly. There are two pools, but the lower pool has no bar service, so we brought our own drinks. The resort also appeared understaffed, making luggage assistance limited. The on-site restaurant near the upper pool was convenient to reach by car, (not by stairs) but the food was average and overpriced compared to restaurants in town. During the one and only meal at the resturant, maintenance work was happening nearby, which disrupted the experience. At checkout, we ensured all items on the long inventory checklist were there to avoid any additional charges.
