Les Douves - Cité Médiévale de Fougères

L’appartamento era comodo, pulito e in una bella posizione a 5 minuti dal castello, mi è piaciuta molto la terrazza con il tavolo e le sedia con vista sul ruscello con il ponte di legno per attraversarlo. Ci tornerei volentieri.

Tutto ok.

La situation du bien est exceptionnelle, près du château, vue magnifique sur la ville haute au bord du Nancon, parfait. Logement très confortable pour deux personnes et très bien équipé Terrasse sur le nancon très agréable et bien fraîche l après midi. Il est très facile d accéder au logement avec la boîte à clé. Pas d hésitation, pour visiter Fougères c est vraiment parfait

Juste une petite remarque constructive, nous avons demandé à accéder au logement vers 14, voire 15h en raison de la chaleur et il nous a été répondu que c était possible mais avec un supplément de 10€. Je ne trouve pas celà très commerçant, si le logement est prêt je ne vois pas le problème. C est comme si on demandait un remboursement parceque nous avons quitté le bien à 8h au lieu de 10h.

The location of Les Douves is excellent; it is an easy (uphill) walk to get into the town itself and the castle is about 5 minutes' walk. The (relatively) private terrace had very pretty views of parts of the old town and one of the churches, and was next to a beautiful stream so very pleasant to sit out over dinner and watch the birds and the world go by (plenty of restaurants within walking distance if you want to eat out). The area in which Les Douves is situated had character - interesting and well-renovated Medieval houses. There was free parking a few yards up the road. The property seemed to have most things that you might need for a short stay. It was peaceful and clean. A fan had been provided (we arrived when the weather was exceptionally hot) which we really appreciated and there were ice cubes ready in the freezer!

The bed is on the small side and the pillows were grim - more like cushions. Bedding looked a bit rumpled/un-ironed and could do with a refresh. More than one tea towel would be handy.

Rien
