Stay near Fougeres Castle
A lovely 3 bed house on the edge of the town amongst some old streets and timber framed houses. Easy to walk to the town, although uphill 😆 Easy access to the castle. Downstairs is a lovely open plan room and was comfortable. There is a bedroom on each of the 3 floors. Wonderful spacious shower room with double basin and laundry facilities.
First floor shutters being old were not fully able to shut out the light. A suggestion for the owners- I would have loved a rug to step out of bed in the mornings

Was able to check in earlier, very clean spacious house. Good shower and facilities. Great location for Fougeres. Good communication. Free street parking just outside front of house.

I kept knocking my head on the hanging light in the downstairs bedroom! It didn't hurt but was annoying. A shorter cable would sort this out.

The location is central and within easy walking distance of the castle, cafes and shops. The property was clean, well equipped and beautifully finished.
