A perfect stay

An absolutely beautiful property, right on the edge of a frozen lake. Beautiful decor, spotlessly clean, comfy beds and a hot sauna. It felt like a real treat. There's a snowy slope next to the property and the host generously provided sledges so our children were able to play outside whilst we were inside watching them - perfect!

Wonderful time over new year in Rovaniemi

We loved the general design and the overall availability of everything you need for staying warm, comfortable and having a great time. Especially we lived the short walk over the frozen lake into town. Minimart & MC Donalds a 15 min walk away too. Matias was reacting on any request via WhatsApp within minutes We loved to start the new year 2026 in Lapland

Can’t justify the high price, not worth it.

The kitchen is very big and new. The host family is friendly.

They don’t expect you to take shower, the hot water only runs for 2 minutes and then it is luke warm water for 5 minutes before completely cold. It is challenge for everyone to take shower at the same time. The bathroom is not well thought. The bigger bathroom is downstairs but there’s no hooks for you to hang your clothes or towels and no toiletries so they basically expect you to Take shower in the bathroom upstairs but there’s only 4 hooks far away from the shower. The washing machine and the toilet is all in the same place making it very cramped.

Absolutely incredible stay — a true dream villa by the lake!

We are a family of four and this home exceeded every expectation we had. It’s spacious, cosy, beautifully designed, with stylish decoration. And it offers the most breathtaking lake view you can imagine!! We had a short stay, but I would definitely consider a longer one as the house is equipped with absolutely everything you may need, washing machine, amazing kitchen with all the amenities, even sleds outside the house for the kids to play! The bedding was extremely cosy, the house really warm and relaxing. The real bonus to all of this was a wonderful sauna that made our stay even more special! The location is perfect — just a few minutes by car from a big supermarket, the city center, and all the winter activities we enjoyed. Big thanks to our kind host for the warm welcome and for making our stay so enjoyable! We are definitely coming back! Staying here is one of the best gifts you can give to yourself or your family!

A real winter wonderland!

We made the booking as a multi- generational holiday and having such a great space meant that everyone’s needs were met in superb comfort. Maria’s was a wonderful host and we n fact the description of the property doesn’t do it justice. Having young kids and grandparents meant that the hill to the side of the house made the perfect sledging area without having to traipse off to find somewhere. Kids awake early- outside sledging while the adults enjoyed coffee from behind the giant windows. An easy walk to the facilities in town or taxis were readily available too. Just the perfect combination for us all. Would definitely stay again.

A scenic and peaceful stay close to Rovaniemi city centre.

This property is amazing. Had everything we could ask for! A short uber away into Rovaniemi town, close to the train station and bus station. Matias is an excellent host and knows exactly how to set you up for a great holiday! The views are incredible.

⭐ 5/5 — Séjour inoubliable à la Villa Nordic Living !Nous recommandons cette villa chic sans hésiter.💙 C’est un endroit parfait pour un séjour en amoureux ou entre amis, la villa étant répartie sur deux niveaux. Nous avons passé une nuit magnifique à la Villa Nordic Living. Nous avons été séduits par l’atmosphère chaleureuse et moderne, la décoration soignée et chic, l’extrême propreté du lieu. La villa est sur 2 niveaux, entièrement revolée avec bcp de goût, une isolation exceptionnelle et parfaitement équipée : bar, cheminée et le sauna privé avec des huiles essentielles a disposions est un vrai bonheur❤️ Les chambres sont magique avec une literie très confortable. Petit détail : la couette individuelle pour un lit double, mais cela semble être la coutume en Laponie (nous avons eu le même cas dans nos deux autres logements). Lors de notre prochain séjour, nous apporterons une grande housse de couette pour jumeler les deux petites, comme nous l’avions fait dans notre dernier hébergement où le linge n’était pas inclus. L’emplacement est idéal : au calme, face a un lac gelé, en pleine nature, tout en restant proche du centre-ville de Rovaniemi et des activités de la région. Le cadre est tout simplement magique, de jour comme de nuit ! La communication avec notre hôte Matias a été impeccable : réactive, chaleureuse et attentionnée.👍 Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir ! Obiekt 10/10. Lokalizacja, 7 min od dworca kolejowego, 12 min od wioski Mikołaja. Udogodnienia, wszystko co potrzebne do gotowania, duży telewizor oraz dużo miejsca, no i oczywiście super sauna.
