Magical Experience!
Such an incredible stay at Villa Amara! We travel a lot and this place is special - one of our absolute favorites! The hosts were super helpful in coordinating arrival and also giving us suggestions. The Villa itself was magical. Amazing river views from the living room, incredible design throughout the house and hotel quality spa/sauna area. Our kids loved exploring and we all spent the evening together relaxing in the cozy chimney room. To top it off we were able to see the northern lights! Altogether an unforgettable experience! Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

The best way to experience the Aurora Borealis, magnificent villa!
The spa! I saw the pictures, but I didn't expect an actual spa like that. The villa is incredible right on the river and the big windows in the living room provides a beautiful view of the river. It's an incredible feeling when you're sat in a warm villa looking out at the cold winter landscape. The hosts were really helpful with recommendations and we got to experience winter bathing followed by Sauna,a fun experience that really gives your body a rush. I cannot recommend this place enough, wish we had more time there!

A Beautiful Home and Exceptional Hosts
Our stay at Villa Amara was truly exceptional. The house is beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed, with the private spa being an absolute highlight, it felt like having a wellness retreat all to ourselves. What really made the experience unforgettable was the kindness of the hosts. They’re a wonderful family, incredibly warm and attentive, and their generosity genuinely surprised us in the best way. The villa was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located by the water, offering the ideal balance of nature and comfort. We left feeling grateful, rested, and already wishing we could return. Highly recommended!!!
