Central - Mini for Solo Travellers

This is a room from a 6 room apartment, rented separately. Not big, but enough for 1. Great location, near public transport, some very useful shops and places to eat. Located inside of a big building on a main boulevard, it is protected and essentially quiet. 2nd floor (3rd level), with elevator. Insede: air conditioning, fridge, tv, a single bed with nightstand, table/beaureau, chair, some storing space; private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. In the common area: small kitchinette with cooking plate, cutlery, dishwasher machine and laundry washer+dryer [high capacity]. Wifi was good, but sometimes variable. In a hot summer it didn't get very warm inside, but the AC was necessary. Good communication with the host; someone came to meet me and handle the keys, despite arriving very late.

The room faces an internal space between 2 adjacent buildings, the windows face a wall. Little natural light and no view; it is hard to tell the weather. But there is no direct sunlight in the hot summer. The bathroom is a little weirdly set, with a small cuboard and the mirror above the toilet. The trash is collected in the kitchinette and I had to call for someone to get it out, but it was done. The inside sound insulation is rather poor, but the people were usually quiet. The tv inside didn't get any tv reception; sometimes it conneted to the wifi and could be used for internet streaming, but the connection was very unstable and it wouldn't work.

The room was very well designed. Even though it was small, there was plenty of room to put things, so it never felt small. While the view isn't great, the windows open to let in fresh air. Great light blocking in case you want to sleep late. I am 1.88m tall, and the bed was sufficiently long for me. The hosts were kind and helpful. The kitchen and washer were kept clean and were very convenient to have. The location is about as good as it gets for Budapest.

It's listed as a full apartment, but it's really one of 5 rooms that all share the same kitchen and common area. I've traveled a lot and I'm used to occasional bathrooms with bad smells, but this bathroom smelled absolutely awful. It must have something to do with the old building. But as long as you keep the bathroom door closed, it's fine.

Baia era murdara, perdeaua se dus era foarte dezgustătoare si murdara. In camera erau fire de par de la alte cliente Tv ul nu funcționa, nu era conectat la internet desi am incercat sa l conectez nu functiona. Patul avea somiera rupta, nu puteai sta bine in el.
