The accommodation is not exactly on main road, you have to enter a smaller street. In dark is difficult to see but you can call the host and tell him to meet you in the Main Street and he’ll meet you there an walk you to your room. This might seem like a disadvantage but it is actually not because by stepping away from the main road you don’t hear the tuktuk noise and are completely surrounded by nature sounds. I was offered some tea on arrival and in the next morning (very good but ask them to not put that much sugar). On arrival I was also offered a gift: a pack of chocolate cookies. I found this a very nice detail. The hosts were very kind and the told me there was a ring by the door and if I ever needed anything to ring it. There was a warm shower, even though the pressure was not that strong. The room comes with 1 shower towel and 1 face towel, which I thought was nice. Also a kettle and 2 glasses and 1 cup. This is the type of accommodation that is suitable for nature lovers and hikers, people who are not looking for luxury but for a place to spend the night during their trip (note that if you are doing the pekoe trail, this accommodation is 50 minutes walk from the start/end point of your stage in makulella).

The bed is okay but the sheets are not tucked in and there is no cover sheet, only 2 thin blankets. I personally would prefer the bottom sheet to be tucked in , add one top sheet and a big thick blanket on top, as the nights are cold. Eventually the light in the toilet stopped working but I reported this issue to the host.

The property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The staff were friendly and helpful, check-in was smooth, and the location was perfect—close to everything we needed. The room had all the essentials, and we especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and cozy bed. Would definitely stay here again
