The first impression was much worse than the last one.

Cottage is spacy, maybe a little dark inside. It is in a quiet region. The owner gave us a scooter (which is actually "must have") at correct price. It is not a five star cottage, but is ok. The nearest beach is cool, specially in the morning untill 11h when almost nobody is there. Cottage is near (200 m) "garden restaurant", where we had (my opinion) the best breskfast during our 1 month stay in Thailand.

Cottage is more like 12 min to the beach and not 6. However with scooter it is 2 mins. Also is not as new as it is presented on booking, but it doesnt disturb me to much.

Cozy and convenient

The hotel was situated at a very good location, everything was no more than 6 minutes drive away. Krabi Town was only a 12 minute drive. The hotel was also very private with only 4 chalets and there was ample privacy between each neighbour. Everything was also man-less, perfect for introverts. The owner also responds to all requests quickly via WhatsApp. The hotel itself was also very safe with nice restaurants around it. We would definitely come back here again!

There can be quite a few bugs, especially mosquitoes. It would be good if the hotel offer some sort of repellent or bug bite cream

Perfect

Really nice cabin perfect for a couple of 2. I was solo traveling so even more perfect. Also i think one of the most nice mattresses ive slept on during my whole trip. Location is perfect not on the main road so really quiet during the evening. The check in check out process really smooth just send a picture through wnatsapp and ur set to go. Keys are in a locker on the front of the house. So yeah definitely 10/10 and please go to the sound shack bar really great peope and fun karaoke place

Maybe that the shower needs a little bit of time to get warm. But who cares its 30degrees outside all the time haha

We had such a wonderful stay at the Teak House😍 Clean, cozy and romantic bungalows within walking distance from cafes, restaurants and the beach. The host is amazing, proactive and helpful. Totally recommended!

De contactpersoon heeft de dag van aankomst laten weten welk huisje van mij is en de check-in code gegeven. Toen ik aankwam bleek dat er al iemand in het verblijf zat met dezelfde gegevens qua verblijf. Contactpersoon reageerde nergens meer op. Het eiland was volgeboekt, behalve veel duurdere verblijven. Uiteindelijk uit noodzaak een (veel) duurder verblijf moeten boeken. Tijdens het boeken zag ik dat het verblijf nog steeds beschikbaar was. Contactpersoon reageerde ‘s avonds pas met excuses en geld teruggehad.

Tegenvaller: klein, donker, vochtig en niet comfortabel.

Het zijn leuke cottages om te zien en het zal vast romantisch zijn om daar samen kort te verblijven. Met mooi weer. Als het echter regent dan is het erg donker en vochtig en klein binnen en geen comfortabele stoelen of hangmat om buiten in te zitten.

Op de foto’s lijken de cottages stukken groter dan ze zijn. Het zijn maar 4 cottages zonder receptie of faciliteiten. Stil en afgelegen maar wel op loopafstand van restaurants en strand. Geen ontvangst door de eigenaar. I.t.t ander accomodaties waar ik een warm ontvangst kreeg heb ik hier niemand gezien. Op afstand probeert ze wel te luisteren naar wat je nodig hebt. Ik heb echter 2 dagen gevraagd om wc papier en niet gekregen. Omdat het 24/7 regende toen ik er was, was ik genoodzaakt veel in de cottage te zijn. Bij regen blijft de cottage echter heel vochtig. Je handdoek waar je de vorige dag mee hebt gedoucht, droogt niet en je kleren zijn vochtig. De badkamer heeft open luiken waardoor insecten naar binnen kunnen en de open douche zit voor de wc waardoor de badkamer helemaal nat wordt en blijft. De gordijnen binnen kunnen niet goed open waardoor het erg donker is binnen. Verder zijn er geen relaxte stoelen om op te chillen. Ik had 12 dagen geboekt maar ben na 5 dagen weggegaan. In overleg met de eigenaresse heb ik gevraagd of ik nog wat van mijn betaling terug kon krijgen mocht ze het kunnen verhuren. Ze gaf aan dat ze het vast kon verhuren en dat zou doen. Toen ik later aan haar vroeg of ze de cottage nog had kunnen verhuren kreeg ik als antwoord: I'm not forcing you to check out. What do I owe you? Daarna heeft ze mij geblokkeerd. Heel onaardig en niet hoe de meeste mensen hier zijn. Voor mij nooit meer teak house Lanta, vooral vanwege de eigenaresse, het gebrek aan faciliteiten en het weinige comfort in de cottage. Andere eigenaren van accomodaties halen je op of brengen je naar een volgende bestemming, maar daar hoef je hier niet op te rekenen.
