A fab home-from-home in a central Lanta location.

Our apartment at Bootshaus was really spacious — just what we needed over Christmas! It was great to have a separate bedroom to the bathroom and kitchen/lounge area. The TV with YouTube, etc, already wired up, was a nice touch, too. The place was also incredibly well-located in Lanta.

Unfortunately, when we arrived, we had to get rid of an abundance of mosquitoes, and cockroaches and geckos did get into the bathroom on occasion. However, we quickly dealt with the latter, and the mosquitoes weren’t an issue after day one. The room was spotlessly cleaned by the staff!

Incredible host and staff, everyone was nice, well placed beach, 7/11, and restaurants close by.

Some cockroaches climbed up from the sewers.

Great apartment in a tropical palm garden

Very spacy apartment with nice terrace. Very quiet. Surrounded by palm trees with many singing birds. Just beautiful. Also super nice staff and host plus lovely dog lady. Would come back for sure.

No drinking water. If you stay longer a water dispenser could be provided to save plastic bottles.

Clean house, friendly staff

The house was clean, and the staff was very friendly and nice. It is near the main road and within 10-15min walking you can reach nice relax bay beach. The bed and bed linens were comfortable and soft.

The air conditioning was load, but working good. The sink in the bathroom was leaking, so from time to time you have wet floors. The location is a bit far from nice beaches, but some of them you can reach by 10-15min walking or by other options. So maybe the price was a bit high per night in comparison of the location and some furnitures age, but overall the stay was nice.

Bootshaus has everything you need, great value for money

We stayed at Bootshaus for two weeks and everything was great. Amiable owner and staff, and all the amenities worked well. They clean the rooms daily and you have the option to eat at their restaurant... the food is superb. The location is convenient also, especially if you have a scooter or bike to explore Koh Lanta.

The bed is not that comfortable but did the job.

Fantastic place!

Loved staying here, felt like home from when we first arrived. Really well equipped apartments with a beautiful tropical garden setting. Excellent wifi connection for anyone working online. Great food in the restaurant too if you feel like relaxing at home! Would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

Top notch food and hospitality.

Delicious food and wonderful gastfreundschaft. We stayed here for 10 days and it was the ideal long-term stay. May's cooking was phenomenal -- of course the schnitzel was good as others have mentioned and we loved it. But I disagree with claims you would "go elsewhere" for Thai food. We loved all of May's cooking, and in fact preferred her thick noodle dishes especially to anywhere else on the island. She's very a very talented chef, and we even had what felt like a Michelin-star dish with excellent quality beef and plate presentation. Highly recommend coming here just for the food, but also the lodging was just what we needed. An extra living room and couch plus kitchenette and working AC -- all you need for a longer-term stay. Mike and Junia were delightful hosts, very attentive to anything we needed. We hope to come back again soon!

We stayed at Bootshaus for over a month and felt very at home. Our hosts were very kind and helpful, the apartment was comfortable, the surroundings were peaceful, and the food at the restaurant was terrific (best curry we had during our entire trip)! The location was also ideal, with Phra Ae Beach and many restaurants and activities within walking distance. We highly recommend Bootshaus and hope to return some day.

When you get there, you get a super genuine friendly welcome. It's just a little of the main road and extremely quiet! Great breakfast and food in general! Private enough as well as very helpful if needed! We hope to come back again!

All in all great experience in Ko Lanta and Bootshaus

We stayed a week in Bootshaus, and we loved it. If we come back to Ko Lanta again, we definetly are staying here. The food was great (Thai and German), the service was great and staff was very friendly, always communicating with us using our names. It is a good location, only 10min walk to the beach and near by many restaurants and shops. We loved that it is not on the main street and it is very quite and peaceful. In the last few days we rented a scooter, which allowed us to see more from the island. We requested a late check out and Mike (the owner) agreed. We were very pleased. All in all great experience in Ko Lanta and Bootshaus.

We got a gecko in our room and I was a bit worried. We talked with the staff about it and they gave us options for how to get it out. Also the tip we got from them was to be aware of when we are opening and closing the windows. The geckos usually stay there around the mosquito net, so you have to push the net from outside, that way you make sure no gecko comes in the room. 🦎😂 Just to make sure, that this coment it is not a negative review, just something I didn't like.

Aamiaisen tein itse. Sijainti keskellä saarta olen ollut Koh Lantalla noin 20 kertaa.

Suihkutiloissa ei ollut ikkunaa. Eikä muuta kosteuden poistoa. Hometta oli mutta se ei ole Thaimaassa uutta.

Immer wieder gern!

Die Lage ist perfekt. Der Strand in der Nähe ist sehr entspannt und groß. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit. Das Apartment war sauber. Die Apartments sind in ruhiger Lage. Die Ventilatoren und die Klimaanlage sind super. Die Terrasse an jedem Apartment hat uns gefallen und grundsätzlich mochten wir die Aufteilung der Wohnung. Unweit von der Anlage befinden sich Restaurants, Touristen-Info, Strand und viiiele Tuktuks. Für 150 Baht kommt man mit dem Tuktuk zum Hauptort / Night Market.

Nur der Abfluss im Bad könnte etwas intensiver gereinigt werden. Ansonsten war alles total toll.
