Gorgeous and spacious room

It was a little loud on George St, but that great location comes with a territory! Well worth a bit of noise.

The property itself was very nicely laid out, very clean and well presented, the roll top bath was a great addition. The apartment is in a perfect location with parking a 5-10 min walk away.

I was disappointed with the booking process managed by Pass the Keys. After paying for the accommodation, I was later required to complete an identity verification process, at which point I had to either pay a £40 non-refundable damage waiver or provide a £500 refundable deposit (plus a fee). Although this information is included in the booking details, it is not clearly highlighted before payment, and I only became fully aware of it once the booking was already confirmed. This felt unexpected and effectively unavoidable. The accommodation itself was excellent, but this aspect of the process should be made much more transparent upfront so guests fully understand the total cost before committing!

Some people might find it a bit noisy because it’s centrally located. I don’t mind that. I found the checking of driving licence/passport and personal details was a bit intrusive, but understandable. £40 fee for damage waiver or £500 deposit was a bit excessive too.
