About this apartment rental
Ma'alaea Surf, Unit A4 - Just steps from one of Maui’s longest white sand beaches, newly remodeled A4 has all the amenities of a luxury resort. Centrally located between the tourist's centers of Lahaina/Kapalua and Wailea/Makena, but once you’ve settled in your spacious apartment, you’ll probably never want to leave this 5-acre oceanfront resort. You can walk or jog along the beach that seems to go forever in both directions and whale watch while enjoying a spectacular Maui sunset on your private patio (lanai). Sugar Beach is also great for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding or just relaxing and working on your tan.
A fully equipped kitchen makes dining in a breeze either in the dining area that seats 4 or out on the lanai. The unit has central AC. The king size bed in the En suite or queen bed in the guest room fitted with luxury linens can accommodate four guests comfortably. There are two televisions, cable, high speed internet with Wi-Fi access, tennis court, two pickleball courts, two swimming pools, bar-b-que facilities, shuffleboard, coin operated laundry facilities and convenient parking.
A4 is a ground floor unit which opens onto the lawn and tropical landscape. It has unobstructed ocean views.
Our condo is well-equipped with the following amenities:
Fully equipped gourmet kitchen (refrigerator, icemaker, dishwasher, microware, oven, coffee maker, toaster, blender)
Kitchen utensils (pots and pans, dishes, glassware and flatware and plastic ware for poolside sipping)
Two flat screen TV’s, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, Wi-Fi, wired access to the internet.
Small library of books and games.
Recreation equipment of beach chairs, towels.
Two grill areas and Coin operated laundry facilities on site
Our property is NOT impacted by the recent news regarding potential short-term rental (STR) restrictions in Maui. Because we are zoned as a hotel property, we are exempt from the County of Maui's proposed STR regulations.

I rented this unit without any reviews posted; it was the first time this stay had become available. It was risky, but I'm so glad I trusted my instincts. Centrally located in Kihei, this home has modern updates, comfortable furnishings, abundant kitchen amenities and large, comfortable bedrooms, the primary with an ensuite bath. This was an absolutely perfect stay for a mom and son. All the comforts of home with the surf literally steps outside your slider. Just beyond the short green lawn is Sugar Beach, green turtles, some reefs to explore and lush Maui sunsets. The property is an extremely quiet and very private end unit. The complex is a series of condo buildings (no high rises) and never felt crowded. The complex is managed by a capable, kind manager that goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I'd add photos, but they wouldn't do the listing justice. It's perfection. Aloha!
