It was such a pleasant experience amidst heavy rains . Very helpful staff and nice hot food .

Loved the stay and the staff were very accommodative. They gave us suggestions for the safari and a nice walking tour.

Nestled at the outskirts of the Nagarhole Tiger Reserve, Coorg Wild Walk is undeniably a good-looking property with a promising location. But if you’re booking here expecting a premium luxury experience — as it’s marketed — temper those expectations significantly. We stayed in the Pierrot room, the most expensive offering on the property. Upon check-in, the shelf behind the bed, the windowsill, and the study table were all visibly dusty … not exactly the first impression a luxury property should make. Worse, the washroom had a persistent foul smell, and the flush water ran murky. The odour never left the room … not after we flagged it, not by checkout. The management’s response to our concerns was, at best, indifferent. For a property positioning itself as luxury, the attitude felt like business as usual rather than a genuine effort to resolve a guest’s discomfort. The manager was largely absent during our one-night stay, which perhaps explains the lack of accountability. The property also photographs larger than it actually is- a mild but noticeable letdown on arrival. On a brighter note, the food was genuinely impressive - a true highlight and perhaps the only aspect that lived up to expectations. Coorg Wild Walk has real potential given its stunning surroundings, but until the basics of cleanliness, upkeep, and guest service are taken seriously, the luxury tag remains aspirational at best.
