While the property itself is beautiful overall and the outdoor areas (including the lawns, pathways, and pool) are visibly well-maintained, the actual stay experience is severely compromised. The resort establishes a great first impression outwardly, but falls completely flat due to neglected room interiors, abysmal backend coordination, and a hostile front-office staff. For a 4-star property charging premium luxury rates, the stark contrast between the beautiful outdoors and the reality hidden inside the rooms makes the stay a significant disappointment. Here is a detailed breakdown of a recent two-day stay, written to help fellow travelers make an informed decision. Check-In and Arrival Experience Policy Wait: Arriving ahead of schedule meant a wait for a cottage to become available, as per the resort's policy. Health Alert: Use caution with the welcome drink offered upon arrival. It may not suit everyone; it caused me severe heartburn and a major stomach upset. Location, Terrain, and Deceptive Amenities The Drive and Surroundings: Reaching the resort is straightforward via Google Maps, with generally good roads except for the final few kilometers. Tip: Check forest road closure timings before traveling. There are very few notable attractions nearby, and the nearest decent restaurants are at least 10 km away, forcing total reliance on the resort's dining. Inaccessible Terrain: The property features very steep pathways that make walking a challenge, particularly for the elderly or anyone with mobility issues. Wildlife Hazards: The grounds are prone to leeches, resulting in a bite during my stay. Guests should carefully watch where they step. Limited Engagement: While promotional materials boast an extensive array of nature activities, the reality falls short. Intermittent rain naturally disrupted outdoor schedules, but alternative indoor engagements were sparse. The property does have a children's park, alongside an indoor games area equipped with table tennis (TT), pool, carrom, a dart board, and a treadmill. However, the only organized group activity visible during my stay was a bonfire with very loud music, which is unappealing if you do not enjoy that type of environment. Beyond eating and sleeping, there is very little to keep you engaged; a stay longer than two days would feel incredibly empty. Exaggerated Marketing vs. Property Reality Cottage Layout: While most cottages are reasonably spaced, the Rosewood block crams four units into a single structure (two adjacent cottages on each face). Checkbox Amenities: The resort features a swimming pool and landscaped grounds that appear well-maintained, though I did not use the pool. However, other advertised features are highly exaggerated. The "lotus/fish pond" is a namesake feature consisting of two stagnant, murky water pits housing frogs and a few fish. Similarly, while a farm exists on the property, there is absolutely nothing special about it. These features seem to exist solely as marketing checkboxes for the website. Specific Cottage Discomforts and Lack of Maintenance While the resort's exterior is polished, the interior of the Rosewood Cottage suffers from a clear lack of routine maintenance and a failure to replace aged inventory: Dilapidated Interiors: The room features cracked walls, mold on the paint, and shabby, grime-stained bedside lamps. Unacceptable Seating: No table or proper chairs are provided to work or eat at. The only seating option is an old, heavily soiled, deeply stained sofa with years of embedded dirt. Substandard Inventory: The provided tea cups had fine cracks on the inside and visible dark stains on the exterior. Gross Hygiene Failures: Compounding the room issues, extra bedding and rollaway frames are stored completely exposed in open veranda and corridor structures. Stray cats use these upright mattresses as beds. Storing guest bedding outdoors where animals soil them is a major sanitary violation. Bathroom Issues The bathroom

The resort was at a nice and pleasant location. The staffs where friendly. But the Food was average. Over all it is a good one.
