Aura of Athens 2

This is a beautiful and spacious self contained apartment that comes complete with all the necessary items required to cook/prepare your own meals (including oil, salt, pepper etc). It’s a very central location with a short walk from the train station to the apartment. It’s another short walk to the Acropolis, change of the guard, the Botanic gardens and many fabulous restaurants. Actually the restaurant right at the front door is fabulous. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The only issue is the stairway to the apartment. A lift would make this property perfect.

A stunning location in the center of Athens, with a pleasant view from the windows overlooking a merry street lined with cafes that were quiet and closing relatively early during our visit, without disturbing our sleep. The entrance to the building is actually located at the entrance to a small eatery that was easy to access. Communication with the owner was very pleasant and fast) With an honest price for an accommodation as such (full apartment with a lot of facilities including AC, tv, fast wi-fi, bedroom with bedding and bath accessories, spacious closets, nice bathroom with a spacious shower stall, hairdryer, a foldable drying rack for clothes, washing machine in the kitchen with a microwave, oven and stove, refrigerator, coffee machine, dishwasher, etc.)

Property at such a great location, wonderfully furnished is unfortunately not properly taken care of. Owner obviously had plenty of time to prepare apartment for our visit, since our flight was delayed and instead of arriving at midday we arrived at night, however we discovered that soap container was empty, guest shampoos were discovered later next day in the corridor drawer, however were not placed in the bathroom, shower floor showed significant lack of cleaning to the point of pink mold along the edges, same as toilet, however toilet had black mold around siphon jet( We also discovered long black hair left from previous visitors and dust balls were rolling across the hall, since the space behind the full-length mirror was not vacuumed (same as behind sofa or under the bed was a year+ layer of dust). Washing machine is poorly installed with a cabinetry plank covering it's bottom part making it obviously impossible to regularly clean the drain. This led to the development of a musty, sour smell during washing cycles, which then transferred onto the clothes. It was quite unpleasant( Bed was spacious, wide, and each guest's experience of the sleeping place will be individual, however for us it was not very comfortable to be fair (the mattress was too soft and both our backs ached in the morning, while the synthetic pillows felt too big and puffy, not very comfortable for the neck).

Evin konumu harika bir yerde. İnanılmaz keyif aldık. Aydınlık ve yenilenmiş bir evdi. Oldukça temiz ve düzenliydi. Giriş ve çıkışı oldukça kolay oldu. Ev sahipleri her zaman sorularımıza cevap verip yardımcı oldular.
