Coastal Cottage

Superb location - just two blocks walk to beach, a couple of minutes drive to Woollies and 10 mins to the esplanade restaurant strip. Securely fenced yard for our two greyhounds with them being welcomed inside as well. Wonderfully stocked kitchen with pantry basics. Comfy bed and super hot water in the shower again with body wash and shampoo/cond supplied. We were so thrilled with how the house looked once inside as the site pics do not do it justice. The hosts super easy to contact and very responsive with queries. The massive back deck and abundant bird song made it extra pleasant sitting out there for meals. Just a wonderfully relaxing short break. An added bonus is that unlike almost every other non-hotel accommodation, we were not expected to clean on departure more than the basic courtesies of emptying bins and ensuring dishes washed and put away (there is no dishwasher) with explicit request to not strip bed linen, just leave used towels in bathroom. You know hosts mean this when they do not provide a broom or vacuum cleaner just a brush and shovel. Such a refreshing change.

We would have preferred a broom or small vac due to the dogs traipsing lawn clippings in from recently mowed and damp lawn but that was an 'us problem' and not a host issue although we have alerted them to same.
