オーナーの人柄良し。部屋も広く快適。設備もよく整備・準備されており申し分ない。宿の対面の萬屋の店主の人柄もほっこりと好ましい。この宿を含め地域一帯の穏やかな連帯感を感じました。
強いていえば、シロアリが3匹ほどベッド周辺にいました。自分は田舎の旧家出身なので、こんなものだろうとは思いましたが、都会の虫嫌いの人はNGかも、と思われます。

とても清潔でトリプルルームはとても広く、快適に過ごせました。洗濯もできてバルコニーもあり干すこともでき助かりました。備品もいろいろ揃えてあり何一つ困ることがありませんでした。
ほとんど無いのですが、チェックインの時間が短いのが少し困ったことでした。

和田宿本陣のすぐそばで、中山道歩きの拠点としてベストなロケーションです。
昔民家だったそのままで、リビングのソファーでくつろぎ、キッチンで朝食をとったり、普通の宿泊は異なる非日常感がありました。
