Great location in the historic center of Esslingen with lovely views from the 2nd story balcony. Was a 5 to 6-minute walk to train station. Grocery stores nearby. Near old staircase to walk up to castle on the hill. Big picture windows overlooking river. Lots of shopping nearby.
Interior was charming, but parquet floors were creaky. Room shades did not darken room very much. Shower is not entirely private.

This is a beautiful apartment with lovely views from the balcony onto the central bridge and river. Everything we needed for a short stay was provided. A central but very peaceful and relaxing home from home.
