Dana stay

The place was spacious and clean. The host clearly puts a lot of effort into the apartment and the place is very well-supplied. We enjoyed our stay, however experienced a situation that made us uncomfortable regarding legality of the lodging business (explained further in the cons section). Pros: * Spacious and clean rooms and bathroom; modern and sleek decorations and furniture * Bathroom shower had divider to minimize splashes (wet bathroom) * Beds comfortable * Large separate washer and dryer * The apartment is well-supplied (plenty of extra small towels, mirrors in each room, laundry detergent, 2-4 hangers per room, clothes steamer, vacuum, 3 umbrellas, dishes and eating utensils, microwave, mugs and cups, extra garbage bags) * Clean air conditioners in each room (heated floor in the kitchen/living room too) * Water dispenser (also serves as water heater) * Host provides helpful guidebook and notes around the apartment * Host responds fairly quickly (if messages are sent late though, host may not respond until the following morning) * Apartment is a 2-3 minute walk from Exit 6 of the subway station. Note that it will take an addition 6-7 minute to walk to Line 2 (this walk is underground so it helps to get away from the sun/rain) * Emergency evacuation map along with flashlight in each room.

Cons: * A man rang our doorbell one morning. We did not answer as we were unavailable. The man then left a large note on the door that made us feel uncomfortable (see photos). Translation of the note indicates that there was a complaint that this apartment was an illegal lodging business that had not been licensed with the city. We notified the host about this among other things but did not get clarification regarding this situation specifically. * We did find 2 bugs; this did not deter our enjoyment of the place * Note that there is a late check-in (17:00) and no elevator (3rd floor). We were aware beforehand so these were not issues for us. * There is a dog that lives on the floor above. The dog likes to bark a lot but the barking is not very noticeable when in the apartment. * A bit pricey, especially compared to others in this location
