Pet Friendly Golden Beach Escape

The unit was behind another house, but it was quiet and easy to access. It was within a 8 min walk to the main shopping area and esplande of Golden beach. The unit was simple, perfect for 2 people but would be 2 small for 4 adults, even a squeeze with kids as there is only a 2 seater couch, and a 2 set table. It had basic supplies available in the kitchen, but we didn't cook there.

It is advertised as pet friendly, I would say pet tolerant. The house except the bedrooms was all tiled so good for pets. However the front section was all concrete, and the back area, which is fenced was all pebbles, no grass in sight. Not exactly easy for pups to do their business on. An old broken dog bowl outside for water. This could be greatly improved with some grass. We bought everything our dogs needed, so it wasn't a problem.

Convenient location and clean

1. Wifi did not work for the entire duration of our stay. Owner should ensure all facilities are working prior to guest arrival. 2. Tea/Coffee - bare minimum is provided. 3. Aircon - only 1 heat pump in the living room facing the wall. Had it running for 24 hours and yet it did not cool the place. Fan in the bedroom ran extremely slowly on any number. Was very uncomfortable getting a good nights sleep in the heat and fan circulating warm air. 4. Flies - there are heaps lingering by the doors and no insect spray is provided. 5. Rates - high

It was very clean and had everything we needed

It needs a mirror in the bedroom because trying to get ready with someone else using the bathroom was difficult. Can’t imagine doing it with more than 2 people
