Elegant Georgian Apartment on Alfred Street

Very nice apartment with pleasant views not far from the centre of town and very close to the Royal Circuit and Circus.

Absence of drawers, limited crockery, namely no small or bread and butter plates.

Great location in the Georgian quarter. Amazing architecture all around, great places to eat, all walking distance but not in an over-touristy street. I loved the apartment itself as it's quite authentic with its floor to ceiling windows and high ceilings. We rented the place for 3 people and I found the sofa bed quite comfortable! Bathroom is new, there are many details like all of Jane Austen's books, a teddy bear, the coffee machine that make the place cozy. The building in front is currently being renovated but we didn't hear any noise. At night it was quiet. The kitchen is small but overall I found the apartment nicer than in the pictures. We also had amazing weather and loved Bath - I'd go back and would book the same place !

We booked for 3 people but they forgot the bedding for the sofa bed - but as soon as we realized and contacted the host they solved it so I wouldn't say this was an issue - good communication from the host.

Close to town centre, attractions and amenities (if you don't mind the hill). A nice quiet location.

The property would benefit from a microwave oven and a few smaller plates. The guest folder asked for recycling to be placed in a box in the kitchen but there was no box so unfortunately it ended up in the bin, I tried to email the host but the email bounced back.

L'appartement est situé sur les hauteurs de Bath, juste à coté du Royal Crescent, du Circus et en face de l'Assembly Rooms. L'appartement est lumineux, très bien équipé et bien chauffé (et très propre). La vue est dégagée. On s'y sent vraiment bien ! Je recommande.

J'aurais bien aimé avoir des rideaux occultants (lumière vive le matin), mais c'est un détail.
