Lonan Country House and Gardens

Everything! Every little detail that would ensure a smooth self-catering trip was thought of by the hosts with the suite well equiped with towels, toilertries as well as herbs, oils and other bits and bobs for cooking. The kitchen had a cooker, fridge, coffee machine and microwave. The rooms were large, cosy and comfortable with modern facilities throughout. It was nice to stay somewhere that has the room to hold dog beds for each of our two dogs without them being a tripping hazard. The super king bed was extremely comfortable and we both got a great night's sleep every night we stayed. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful and it was nice to stay somewhere truly dog friendly and not just dog tolerant.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Amazing location, friendly hosts, very comfortable and clean. Treats and welcome pack were great and homemade bread was delicious. Gardens and surrounding facilities are fantastic. Quirky apartment layout, but doesn’t detract from a wonderful experience.

Una fiaba

Lovely, quiet, comfortable accommodations and the surrounding area was beautiful. The road up was a little concerning for this US driver on the right side of the car! Not a detriment to the property, which was lovely and owner provided info for those wishing to hike the area. The owners were very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommend this property.
