Location was excellent!

Very secure building; Elevator! Condo clean/spotless NO INTERNET DESPITE WEB PAGE list of amenities TV had "no signal" as no internet 90's temps with 1 working window air conditioner (1 broken); host did not come back to fix as promised NO working table lamps Excellent mattresses Large bathroom towels only (no wash cloths, no hand towels) Kitchen stove was adequate (never got water past simmer but could fix scrambled eggs); oven worked No measuring cups, measuring spoons, spatulas Minimal dishes/bowls for 2 people Minimal flatware No kitchen towels (used bath towel), no hot pads Washing machine worked well (never figured out how to work dryer and no instruction booklet) Dishwasher worked well

Está en un barrio excelente, bien comunicado, cerca de Hyde park y de Harrods. Apartamento amplio y limpio, aunque pendiente de algunas reformas. Anfitrión amable que nos permitió entrar antes de la hora pactada. Hay un supermercado Waitrose cerca y paradas de metro y bus, muy próximas.

El apartamento está reformado en parte, las ventanas son muy antiguas, algunas no se pueden cerrar y no se pueden limpiar bien, por lo que se ven algo sucias. Tiene una tele grande en la que no se selecciona ningun canal de TV, solo algunas cosas como Youtube. No tiene tostadora de pan. La caja de seguridad es de hace 80 años, no se puede utilizar; los armarios están llenos de trastos y el mobiliario, es bonito pero muy antiguo. No hay recepción 24 horas como dice algún comentario. Y es cierto que el grifo de la ducha cuesta regularlo, pero al final funciona. Tiene calefación central, que no se regula y no se si existe aire acondicionado.

The location

The cleaning was not perfect, the communication with the host and the team is the worse part. Initially, the TV was working only as smart device Netflix and you tube in the middle of the world cup games. We got a cable after back and forth complains. The AC was not working and when we asked for a replacement, we were told by Mr. Sam to rent one for 350 pounds and later the price changed to 140 or buy one and we can take it with us. We did not receive any cleaning or offered a change of sheets for the whole time. I don’t know who is the main host, never introduced himself or herself, no welcoming message, no apologies at all I don’t know if this is their standard or we got treated differently 🤔 One thing I asked if we can check out at 1 and received a reply “ok”. London was my last stop in Europe but I have been to London many times and over the years. The quality of the management and communication is declining and compared to my other bookings, they need to be more attentive to their customers and treat them more professionally.
